Hola!
so this is the news with the transfers... I am staying and I am training another one. I am not so sure that i am very excited for this. I get kind of sick having to teach lessons all by myself cause i am the only one who can speak spanish in the companionship. It takes like 9 months for a spanish missionary in the states to become fluent! I have yet to have one of those ever since Elder McDonald went home!
I am praying he is cool though. I mean... I didn't want to train when I was asked to for Elder Eversole but I ended up loving him to death and he picked up on spanish fast. Hopefully the new "son" will as well. I think I am going to pull a prank on him and get someone to pretend mug him or something. haha. we'll see what we come up with.
Elder Harris is most likely going to go to Yellow River where i came from. We will see though. I am going to miss the guy. He was a great companion. He puts forth his best efforts and I respect that a lot. It hit me with this transfer that i only have like 9 months left. it has been going crazy fast. Time goes by even faster when you look at it as a six week cycle.
Let me see... nothing besides that is really new. There has been a lot of work going on and we are working hard. I get the feeling that we will be able to baptize this next transfer if we do all that is required of us. I am praying to find some elect people to teach. We have been working hard to constantly re-fresh our teaching pool if someone is not progressing.
I am glad to hear that everything back home is going well. I dont remember if i ever said this... Happy birthday mom and franny! hey... better late then never right? anyways... that is about it for this week. I love you all and thanks for the support. I'll let you know how the greenie training goes.
Elder Delgado
p.s. oh yeah... Elder Hafen this week was alright. I shouldn't rag on a seventy's teaching technique so i won't. haha.
