Hey!...

Ok, So this new email server is so much better than the one we had before! haha. I can actually send things to multiple people with no problems! so you will all get this email weekly unless you tell me to stop sending it to you. Just so you know.

So, the week went very well. We have been working hard. Our baptismal date for the 14th fell through for now but we are praying that we can re-commit him to another time. We have been given much success by the lord however. This week we found 7 new people to teach. It was a lot of fun. We have a returned missionary who is the gospel principles teacher in our branch who loves to go out and teach with us. The best part is that he knows what it is like so if we take him tracting he is super happy about it! he rocks and deserves extra blessings for all the effort he puts in! haha.

We are working with some great families. My favorite right now is a part member situation. The family is Estrada Beltran and the husband is not the member. The 10 daughter is a recent convert and the mother is a long time member (recently Re-activated). They are amazing! The father (Jose) has come to church like 10 times now and loves it. We are teaching him without him even knowing it! haha. We are teaching his daughter the new member lessons and the family at the same time. We always commit the family to do things together when we teach them! It is awesome and I believe the lord is really preparing him to make the covenant of baptism soon. We dont want to push him but i want to see him as a member!

This week I also had a very awesome experience with a less-active family that i've never met. The Lopez family. It was during an exhcange with Elder Fletcher when we got to know them. they once llived in Idaho and are all members of the church who are now in-active. there is like 20 of them! it is crazy! It was shocking how much family was there. we just so happen catch them all the same day! which we all know is not a coincidence! haha. so we sat and talked for a while. We eventually got to share a message with the family before we left. The spirit was so strong! I know this family needs to come back. We read in 3 nephi when Jesus Christ is ministering to the nephites here in the america's to their children. they all have kids so it really meant alot i think.

Besides that it was just an awesome week. I got to hear some general authorities address the southeast area exclusively. President Eyring gave a powerful talk about family. I get chills just thinking about it! ah. haha. I love the General Authorities! they always bring the spirit so powerfully. anways i got to bounce. I love you all. oh and quick note. i got the sd card. I need my dental insurance! yes, i have a cavity. and mom, what part of venezuela are you from again? i can never remember and there is a good amount of venezuelans around here! haha.

Much Love,

Elder Erick Delgado
