June 1st...

Hello Family....
Wow can you believe that today is the first day of june? that is crazy! in two more days i would have been on my mission for six months and officially no longer be in the greenie category! haha right on!
Anyways... so this week. Well to tell you the truth nothing all that special is coming to mind. Sad isn't it? I have a terrible memory! haha. well i guess i would have to say that the highlight of the week would be the fact that we had the oppurtunity to have our interviews this week! it rocked! I love just sitting down with president king and speaking with him! He is such an inspired man and always helps me be more motivated with the work.
We provided alot of service this week. It sure can get hot here in Georgia. The humidity stinks and I am not a big fan of it. Fortunately I am like the only Elder who doesn't sweat! haha. well at leat not as bad as all the other elders. I feel bad for them at times. Especially my companion. We will walk outside and he will just start busting out in sweat. It is pretty gross. No one likes to guard him when we play sports. haha.
Well i really don't know what to write. This was a pretty plain week. Sunday was nice because two members of our mission presidency came and spoke in one of my wards but none of our investigators showed up but sarah!
I dont know if i have told you about sarah so here it goes. Sarah is an 8 year old girl who has made the decision to be baptized. Her grandmother and everyone on that side of the family are members. Unfortunately her mother and father are not. We have spoken with them and they support Sarah and her decision! so that is wonderful. She will be baptized on june 13th. Lets see... oh yeah. today we are going to teach her and her grandma is going to cook for us! i am so excited to eat arrepas again! she is from venezuela as well! so its good stuff. anyways she is a smart girl and we are happy for her decision. she goes to church with grandma on sundays. Well, Hopefully this upcoming week will be a little more eventful.
I love you all!
take care!
Elder Erick Delgado
