Stone Mountain Branch June 22nd...

HEY HEY!
So last week we had like zero work... and this week we found 7 new
investigators and taught the most member present lessons they have had in
this area for the past 3 months! I am stoked we have been so blessed with
success lately I am loving it! I know for a fact that everything will work
out here and soon enough we will begin baptizing many people in this area.
We did have the oppurtunity to have 2 baptisms yesterday on fathers
day. it was pretty crazy cause nothing was set up and we scrambled to do
it. Luckily that wasnt the first baptismal service where i had to scramble
to fix things so we got it done and the baptism was awesome. Their names
are Reyes and Agustina Martinez. All the credit goes to my companion
and his former companion Elder Morris. They did a great job teaching and
preparing them.
Real quick I want to wish my Wonderful Amazing Father the best fathers
day he can ever have! haha. I love you so much dad and I am proud to be
called your son. not only that... your favorite son! haha. I hope you got my
fathers day card and pictures. I love you! Wow so much has happened in this week.
It has truly been amazing! get this we even had a guy call us for a movie from
the church but usually those kind of refferals come from church headquarters.
oddly enough we asked him how he got our phone number... he said he saw a
commercial on t.v. and it was our number direct. Now that is what i call Divine
Intervention! when we went to visit him there was also this other women who was so
interested in the message! it rocked!
oh yeah. that reminds me. they are from El Salvador. Dad... What city are you
from in El Salvador and mom what city are you from in Venezuela. People
always ask and i can never remember.
It has been a blessing serving the latin population of Georgia. They are more
open to me because i am latin as well. Elder Humpherys says he loves it!
he never got this attention with two white guys before. haha.
We are picking up alot of people to teach and we only plan on finding more.
Your prayers are being answered so keep praying for us. I know we dont
have enough yet though so keep praying! I love you all for this!
Another quick story, went to go see another refferal and sure enough
we found them at home. but right as they were sitting to have bible
study with the some evangilists. so we sat down and joined them. we'll be
going again this thursday! it was awesome. a guy showed up to that bible
study who i had been teaching in my other area! it was intense. Also the
people were so loving and loved seeing the young people who are so "knowledgable"
it made me laugh. but we both agreed there is potential in that
group for some investigators. we taught one lady about the book of mormon
while there and she became interested. anyways. 20 secs. love you all.
