Brother and Sister Delgado:Your son is a marvelous missionary. He currently has the assignment to train one of our brand new missionaries, Elder Eversole from Las Vegas. One of the greatest opportunities of trust a mission president can bestow is to train a new missionary. They are both doing really well.
I so appreciate your son. I know you miss him immensely. My turn will come to miss him when I have the opportunity to put him on the plane and send him back to your care. I don't look forward to that day but I know you are looking forward to it with great anticipation. You will find the time will go by very quickly once he hits his anniversary and is on the downhill slide of his mission.
The Lord promises His missionaries that He will take care of their families. I hope you are feeling the blessings of having a faithful son serving in the mission field. There is still much great work ahead of him. He will see the Lord's hand as it stretches forth over this part of the country. You will be blessed because of his service.
May the Lord continue to watch out for you and your faithful family. I hope Ringo is still finding success with the Garffs.
