"I never said it would be easy. I only said it would be worth it."
That saying has been something i use alot in conjunction with 2 nephi 4 and the expressions of how Nephi trusts in the lord.
To say the least... It has been tough. I have a wonderful companion but he is definately the least compatible one I have had yet! I am working with him though. He is willing to listen and learn. It is hard living with someone who isn't quite as tidy as i am. haha. but oh well. he is getting there little by little.
so yeah... the jesus the christ book. still need one please. also the seven lectures on faith. could use one of those as well. please! and francys... i have another SD card in my camera already. It is 8 gigs. dont worry about sending me an extra. the one i have will last me my entire mission. hopefully.
so this week I have still to get adjusted to the area. It is not as city as my past two areas were. which i miss. I love the city. also there is not as much of a hispanic population in the area. We have alot of less active work to do. It is ridiculous. Oh well, I am praying we will find more people to teach this week. I am struggling only teaching 23 lessons a week. It is a big change from averaging around 35 my entire mission.
It makes it tough because your not teaching as much and you feel less effective. I know that isn't true because we are constantly working... but it just isnt what i enjoy as much. I like seeing people progress! which brings me to my ray of sunshine for the week!
This week we have a total of 7 baptismal commitments! that is such a blessing! haha. they are all doing well. I have faith that all of them will be baptized one day. I believe 4 will be going down for sure out of the seven that we have. 6 of those dates are on my birthday. haha. So i will be praying alot for that to happen!
Lets see, I really dont know what to say. nothing great has been happening. Other then Zone Conference being the highlight of the week along with the baptismal dates. I have felt the spirit strongly this week but it sure is tough still. I know that the lord is in this work and i am begining to think that my faith is just being tried this week.
I love you all! i am sorry this one is kind of short this week. just not much that happened this week. I am praying for all of you. I am grateful for your prayers you have sent me. I have recieved great love and support from all of you. please be safe.
