Another week....

Hey!

So this week I wont go on forever. I'll save it for next week. haha. Seriously though... I will make this one short today. There is not to much news as far as investigators go. Our baptism for the 22nd this saturday is going down. He had is interview and will do great as a member of the church. Pray he will have protection this week from the added temptations he will face. his name is Humberto Escandon.
So Edith and her family who have the baptismal date for september 5th didnt come to church this sunday. It was a bummer. I am praying it didnt have anything to do with the fact that her son was trying to bible bash with us. I worry he is putting doubts into their heads. I think it will all be fine though. Just pray that they continue to feel the spirit and feel a spiritual confirmation for themselves. She said her van broke down, so i am giving her the benefit of the doubt and just going to believe her. We will see them tomorrow and this time I am prepared with my bible scriptures. Hope i wont have to use them though.
We had a cool experience this week. We went to the QT (kind of like 7-11) and there was a man there whose name is salvador. He was interested in what we are "dedicated" to. So we told him. It was a five minute visit but he gave us his contact info. Earlier today, we went and taught him! haha. he had a load of questions which we answered. He believes the same things that we do but brought up how he doesnt know about the book of mormon. He was open about reading and praying about it however. I feel he is a humble seeker of truth and I pray he will progress towards baptism. I know he is very concerned about his salvation.
Well, honestly... that is about it as far as progress goes. However i do want to give a very big thank you to francys and rob. Those talks you sent me last week really edified me and i was grateful to read them. I have also had interviews this past week with president king. During that session he spoke to us about revelation and having the spirit. It was great. Sadly i was upset with the zone. this zone doesnt feel very "united" as president king would like us to be. Anyways... I am doing fine. My companion is an emotional rollercoaster alot of times and i am grateful that i have been blessed with patience in my life. haha. Lots of spiritual edification this week. If i shared it... I would be writing for the next three hours!
Love ya all!
