1st Baptism

hello family! i guess you have not heard that i had my first baptismal service on the 24th. it was wonderful. the spirit was great and i did the ordinance of baptism for a man named pedro diaz. the other person being baptized was adela osuna. she was baptized by my companion elder taylor. The area here is very fruitful and we are staying very very busy. I am taking the lead here. my companion is being transferred. so we will see what it is like. i will miss him. he was really great. the baptism story. it is all i will have time for. so we went to the baptism. arriving late. figuring out rides for the people being baptized. we come to find out the plug on the font broke. there is an inch of water in the font! ah! ok so we get a pot lid and cover up the drain. then we make a bucket brigade from all water sources in the building! we got the font filled up enough after about an hour. haha. it was great fun! i miss you and love you all. i will try my best to keep you up to date with the best experiences i have. be safe!

Hola familia,
Quizas no han escuchado que tuve mi primer servicio bautismal el veinticuatro de Enero. Fue divino. La otra persona que se bautizo fue Adela Osuna. Ella fue bautizada por mi companero Elder Taylor. Este lugar es muy productivo y estamos muy ocupados. Ahora, tomare las riendas. Mi companero se va transferir. Asi que vamos a ver. Lo voy a extranar. El fue buenisimo. Solamente tengo tiempo para contarles del bautismo. Asi que fuimos al bautimso...llegando tarde...hallando transportacion para la gente que se iba bautizar. Nos dimos cuenta que el tapon de la pila bautismal estaba roto. El agua tenia solamente una pulgada de profundidad! Ay! Asi que usamos la tapa de una lata para cubrir el desague. Entonces, hicimos una brigada de personas pasando baldes de agua para llenar la pila desde cada fuente en la iglesia. Una hora mas tarde, llenamos la pila suficientemente. Fue una gran diversion. Ha, ha. Les extrano y les quiero a todos. Tratare de informales de mis experiencias buenas. Tengan cuidado. - Elder Delgado.
