hey family!
so how is everyone? busy i am assuming! I have been very busy myself! I just got a new companion on wednesday. He is a great guy and an awesome missionary. We have alot in common. His name is Elder McDonald. I told him to start hooking me up with big macs but he says he doesn't have that authority while on the mission. haha. We have kept busy. We taught 25 lessons this week which was kind of depressing seeing how we average about 30-32 per week. We are working really hard and focusing on a few investigators this week though. The main one being a young couple whose names are Juan Carlos Morales and Laura Escobar. They are great. I have got a story for you! Juan has a bit of a word of wisdom problem. He said he has given up drinking and has been doing well with that. I noticed a pack of cigarettes however... so i asked him how serious he was on this change. He said he was ready. So i told him to go get me a pair of scissors, his lighter, and to follow me outside. I grabbed the carton of cigarettes. When we were outside he was confused as to what was going on... so i explained to him that he was going to smoke the cigarettes. He just laughed. I then cut off the filter and gave it to him. He lit it. Once he began smoking it he was shocked at how strong it was. I told him he had to finish it though. He was struggling through alot of it. He finished it though. I then asked him how many he smokes a day. he replied about 2. so i gave him another one. He didnt want to do it, but he lit it. Not even half way through his second cigarette he gave up con ganas de vomitar! he just about through up right there on the spot. We went inside and I explained how all of those chemicals is what he puts into his body with each cigarette. He said he never wanted to touch one again. So just in case... I cut off all the filters on the rest of the cigarettes. haha. I hope he gives it up! He is a great guy and his girlfriend is also. We are trying to get them married soon. She is ready to be baptized. She has a testimony and loves coming to church... we are just waiting on that marriage. As for him... i think he will come around soon! Anyways... that is my story for the week. I am busy busy. Hoping to make my ward into a branch. I think i will be "killing" my companion. He has 6 months left. Which means I will be here in this area for another six months. I am happy about it though. I want to see this area grow and I see the great potential there is. right now we are praying as a companionship to find a family that has been prepared to recieve the gospel.

We want to find a family that is ready to recieve the lessons and become strong members in a short time. So if i could ask all of you to assist us with your prayers that the lord will guide us to that family which we are seeking. I love you all. stay safe and keep me updated on the news. Thank you for sending me elder bollers email address mom. Bianca I will write you soon! i miss seeing Dagny alot more then i thought i would. I have her picture on my wall next to my desk! Everyone stay safe please! Love you all!
