Baptisms on the 12th!

Side Note: These pictures are the most recent ones this month. He actually e-mailed pictures. Very unusual.
Hey Hey!
How is everyone doing? I am having a great time here in Georgia. So... some great news! Julie Larson and Cody Harbuck are being baptized on the 12th of December. Julie is amazing! I have seen alot of change in her. This past week at church she just had an amazing spirit about her and I am very grateful that I have been around to witness such a great change in her. Her boyfriend Josh Flake is coming along bit by bit but is only thinking about baptism. he has committed to praying about it and to come to church. Hopefully the spirit will give him an answer to his prayers soon.
Cody is amazing! He is such a good guy! He comes and sees us like everyday and loves being at church. He was raised as a pentecostal but has different beliefs and loves the book of mormon! His parents have consented to allow his baptism so we are praying nothing changes and that he can continue following his commitments. Please pray for cody and julie to have the strength needed to continue in the gospel.
Next, Edward Nishio (Knee-She-O) he is another friend of josh and julie's who has been taking the lessons with us. We have challenged him to investigate more seriously about the church! He is amazing! He is half Japanese and half Colombian (Only in the u.s.a!) He attends a catholic church and shows a great interest and desire. We are praying he will come soon to church and definately feel the spirit during the baptism on the 12th.
It has been awesome playing sports as our fellowshipping activities! we two or three times a week! This has allowed the youth to come out and really make friends with our investigators. We have also had the opportunity to meet some great people to teach because of these great activities.
We have had a tough time with no car but alot of the english members have stepped up to the call. They have been wonderful toting us around from place to place. It has truly been a blessing having the conyers ward support us in this manner. We have also found out that the mission is not allowed to give us a new car untill they recieve the ok from salt lake. The soonest that will be is January. Seeing as how our car was totaled there is no hope until then for our own transportation.
Elder Kilpelainen has been great. I have come to realize that he is the one I love the most in the apartment. haha. We have been living together for quite some time now and I dont look forward to the day when either of us gets transferred. We have decided that we need to live a life together after this one close by to eachother. thank goodness for the awesome free flying benefits from my loving mother! haha.
Elder Lee has gone home! It has been different. Elder Folker is the new one in the apartment. It is cool. He is a great guy from Idaho Falls. He has some great jokes! I am grateful for the lord allowing wonderful elders and sisters to be around me. I dont know what i would do if i could not get along with someone in my apartment or district.
I don't know what else has happened this week. I'm going to try and send some pictures of cody and julie if i can. hopefully my computer works. Anyways... love ya!

So I totally forgot to tell you about thanksgiving. So this thanksgiving was great! we were with the dawson family for the big dinner and we were also fed by the leon family. We had a turkey bowl in the morning and played some awesome flag football! Got to spend some time with the valencia family which i love to death! we played soccer of course. then we got to play some basketball with josh julie and cody. total blast. Marta had us over for a bit and it was nice being with the entire larson family.

Which reminds me, The larson family has really been struggling with one of their daughters. Jessica has been addicted to some things in her life that has cause some great grief and distress for this family. If all could please take a moment and offer a prayer for the family I would greatly appreciate it. There is no doubt in my mind that of all the families i have met my entire mission that i have not come to love a family as much as i have this one. I am very attached and they need the prayers. We shared the talk love and law by oaks with them and I think that left a great impression. Derek (the husband) just went back to war this sunday. please pray for his protection and that he can come home safely in march. thanks for all that you guys do! I love ya'll.
