HOLA FAMILIA!So this week has been an incredible week! no joke! lots of miracles and spiritual experiences that really have proved to me that the lord answers prayers. Anyways... this is how this email is going to work. tid bits on the whole week day by day. im just going to use my planner. lets see how much i can get in with ten minutes. haha.
monday march 9.
Elder McDonald and I decide to take a prep day were it is just me and him! It was a total blast even though we did miss the rest of the missionaries in the zone. We went bowling in our proselyting clothes and got tons of looks. haha. it was awesome. we ended up playing seven games! it was .99 cents a game so we figured why not! after which we went to the smith home to play basketball with reagan. I dont think i have told you about the smith family yet. they deserve thier very own paragraph because they are so amazing so untill next week i will give you the info on them. We had dinner with them that night and went out teaching with a member from the ward at 7. we were able to see some families and meet our goals.
Tuesday March 10,
This day was amazing. Some really spiritual stuff happened on this day! I will explain the experience later because i only want it shared with the family and not posted. sorry to everyone else! no offense. Anyways... we have been praying for more investigators and people ready to be baptized... we found 2 new investigators that morning just walking. we were able to see some less actives and we got to spend some time on another team up.
Wednesday march 11,
We went and provided service this day in the morning and translated at norcross co-operative ministry where they help people with food. it was great and we do that every other week. we found 2 new investigators who are solid off that day of service. we then went to go see this family that had invited us to eat but we caught them drinking... they broke down asking for forgiveness. we chastised them a little and told them to humble themselves before the lord not us. so we will see what happens with them. they love god and the savior, unfortunately they make incorrect decisions. I then went on an exchange with Elder Hickman for a day. We finished out the night pretty well.
Thursday March 12,
We exchanged back at zone interviews that day. What a wonderful zone meeting it was! I was able to learn alot as each of the district leaders in the zone shared a message, the zone leaders did, and president king as well. In the interview with president king he asked me to share my favorite scripture which as of right now is Alma 53: 10-18. There is alot to learn in those verses and i feel it is so powerful when you know the background to it. Needless to say we had a great and spiritual interview. I always feel re-energized being in his presence and each time he teaches i feel i become a better missionary. The rest of the day went great and we continued to have success.
Friday March. 13
so this is suppose to be a bad luck day right? well not when the lord is on your side! haha. This day we saw so many miracles it was ridiculous! the best was when we stopped by at Suzi's home when we didnnt even plan on it. she said she had been thinking about us the night before and all day. We talked to her and she asked us about baptism... in the end we asked her to be baptized and she agreed to once she recieves her answer. unfortunately... her household is against us and doesnt want us to come over. but she is strong. i have faith the lord will provide a means for her to accept the gospel now in her life.
ok. got to go.love you all.send me matt emails please.
