One memorable week...

Hey family!
So this week was pretty crazy. We had a ton to do and a bunch of crazy stuff that happened. Monday went fine and started the week off great! Then came Tuesday... We had a Tornado come through the city of Demorest. It is about five miles from where we live! haha. no worries though. we were prepared! Elder Young is like this Emergency Prep genius! haha. He made us barricade our apartment and he is the one that saw the signs for the tornado. It was raining like crazy! it was intense! we made some fun videos out of it all. haha.
The next day we had to go to Language council in Roswell which is forever away from cornelia. It was way neat though getting to see all the language missionaries gathered together and to discuss what we can do to improve. It was fun seeing all four sons together! haha. it is crazy to see how much they have grown since they were last around me. I miss them all. they were all such great companions. Anways... when we got to the apartment... it was a blazing inferno in there!
We left the AC running while we were gone but we came home to 110 degrees! The unit was fried during the storm and was blowing out hot air! It was so bad! we called the complex and then went to lowes to buy a box fan! You should have seen Elder Young! haha. that kid can't take the heat at all. It was driving me crazy as well though. We ended up spending the night across the street with Elder Zundel and Elder Smith. The next morning we Exchanged and we had Elder Rima with us, he was not happy about the heater. haha. Luckily, they fixed that day while we were out working and we came home to a nice cool place.
On Saturday we did another exchange with the missionaries across the street. I brought Elder Zundel with me for a day and Elder Young went with Elder Miner. It was a great experience! I really liked having Elder Zundel around. He is a stud from Portland and he is a great missionary to be around. It was a long day though, we havent had miles and we have had to walk everywhere for the past few days. I am fine with walking... just not in the country. things are spread out by miles! haha. I've got my fair share of holes in the soles.
Sunday we had the opportunity to hold a member missionary fireside! It was so cool! we had the opportunity to share with a good amount of the ward members what we do as missionaries and how things are so different compared to the old style of missionary discussions. It was crazy to see how many people didnt know that we do not go into a lesson and have things memorized. We are instructed to teach entirely by the spirit! Thank goodness for Preach My Gospel. It really is such an amazing tool for any member of the church. That same night was the night of transfer calls.
So we anticipated phone calls, wondering what would be happening. Some big changes happened... Well, first off... Elder Young was asked to be an assistant to the president! that was great news! I'm so stoked to know that we will yet again continue to have wonderful Elders leading. Then I got a phone call that I would be transferred and training once again. Yeah... that is son number 5. It is crazy to think about how many people I have served with! I dont know what area I am heading too or who will be the other zone leader. There are some crazy possibilities with possibly opening up and white washing into a new zone. I may also be going to Roswell. which in all actuality... would be like a dream come true! haha. I have wanted to serve there my entire mission and I couldnt think of a better last area than roswell.
It is crazy to think that not many more transfers are left until I go home. I am freaked out of my mind to think that this could ever end. Oh well, reality will come some day. haha. All in all, I am having a blast out here and would not trade it for the world! I am praying for you all! I hope everything is going well. Love you all! I'll let you know what happens with the transfer!
